Dr.
Avani Maniar is
presently working as a Lecturer in the Department of Extension and Communication,
Faculty of Family and Community Sciences, The Maharaja Sayaji rao University
of Baroda,Vadodara. she has 10 years of teaching research and extension
related experience. She has guided number of M.sc Dissertations and has more
than 20 publications to her credit .Her PhD research work is on “Elderly
and Television Viewing”. Her recent project was on “Training Elderly Citizens
for Computer and Internet Operation”. Her areas of interest are Development
Communication, Media Production, ICT for Education and Development, Women’s
Studies and rural Development.
